Lead Healthy Lifestyle, Health Ministry Staff Told

PUTRAJAYA, June 7 (Bernama) – Health Ministry staff should lead a healthy lifestyle as an example to society.

Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said this was imperative so that they could carry out their duties and play their role well.

"At least, the Health Ministry staff should serve as a good example to the public," he said in his speech at a Health Minister-friendly gathering with the ministry staff here today.

At the event, Dr Dzulkefly also presented donations to four people with disabilities, nine individuals from single parents and 27 representatives from low income families.

On the event, he said such corporate social responsibility programmes should be organised from time to time, instead of seasonal or with the advent of Ramadan.

This is because the ministry served the community, he said.
