IPOH, June 29 (Bernama) -- The Perak state government appreciates all the medical-related activities carried out by the Ipoh Pantai Hospital here that always enhance public awareness on health issues.
State Health, Consumer Affairs, Civil Society, National Integration and Human Resource Committee chairman A. Sivanesan said the hospital has also implemented various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to provide financial assistance to those in need.
“I will give my support to the hospital in implementing any programme that will help improve the health and well-being of the community,” he said at the hospital’s Aidilfitri open house here this evening.
Meanwhile, Ipoh Pantai Hospital chief executive officer, Chong Siet Fong said the hospital has organised the CSR Khazanah IHH Healthcare Fund programme since 2013, and thus far has helped 256 patients in Perak to receive free medical treatment.
