Stress is what you experience when you are overwhelmed by mental and emotional pressure. You may have issues at work, with your spouse or financial troubles.
Although stress is not a disorder, it can develop into an illness if it is not managed and be left for too long until it becomes chronic.
According to Psychiatrist, Dr Dimitrios Paschos as quoted in the Metro.co.uk in an article entitled "The difference between stress and depression and warning signs to look out for" depression is a clinical condition that has well defined system. He also said that it was a common disorder affecting the population.
