KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) and the National Blood Centre have partnered to hold a month-long health awareness and blood donation drive at more than 30 locations around the country.
In a statement today, LIAM said its 16 member companies, as well as the National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAMLIFA), are taking part in the campaign which ends Oct 31.
At the moment, the campaign -- which includes free health screenings and talks – is to be found at the concourse of Medan MARA in Jalan Raja Laut till Oct 5.
Helping make it a success are Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), the National Heart Institute, National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), Asia Assistance Network (M) Sdn Bhd, KPJ Healthcare Bhd, Cancer Research Malaysia and Peak Fitness Sdn Bhd.
