Health dept orders satay premises in Senawang closed for 2 weeks



SEREMBAN, Oct 21 (Bernama) — The Negeri Sembilan Health Department has ordered the operator of the bone satay in Senawang to close its operations for two weeks beginning today as it was found to have neglected the cleanliness aspect in food preparation.

Its director, Dr Zainudin Mohd Ali said the department had conducted a surprise check on a house which was turned into the preparation place for the bone satay following the issue on the cleanliness of the place by a Facebook user.

“The feedback received following the investigation found that the owner of the premises had breached the Food Act 1983 and generally the premises was found to be unclean,” he said in a statement, here today.

Dr Zainuddin said the premises had been ordered closed under Section 11 of the Food Act 1983.
