e-Medical report system now used in all 12 gov't hospitals in Johor



KLUANG, Jan 24 (Bernama) – To ease the process of retrieving medical reports at government hospitals, the Johor State Health Department (JKNJ) is now adopting the e-Medical Report (eLP) system in all 12 government hospitals in the state.

Johor Health, Environment and Agriculture Committee chairman Dr Sahruddin Jamal said the eLP was a web-based system developed using the expertise of in-house staff at JKNJ.

He said it was the first of its kind system used in the Ministry of Health and development had begun since 2015.

"The eLP system guarantees information security through the means of accessing information with the use of usernames and passwords. The system is also equipped with an auto-logout system within 30 minutes.

"In fact, the system is now a reference point for other state health departments, and among those that have developed and started using it beginning this year is the Kelantan Health Department," he said in a press conference after the launch of the system at Enche 'Hajjah Khalsom Hospital here today.
