Putrajaya Complex E launches 'WALK'' campaign



PUTRAJAYA, April 19 (Bernama) -- The healthy lifestyle campaign ‘When Active Living Kicks (WALK)  introduced at the end of last year is now being promoted at Complex E here through the Complex E- Healthy Wellbeing initiative.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad when launching Complex E-Healthy Wellbeing today, said the initiative involved five ministries around Complex E to enable civil servants stay productive.  

The Complex E-Healthy Wellbeing encompasses six main scopes namely active living, weight management, healthy diet, no smoking, health and mental health screening apart from a healthy work environment and abstaining from alcohol. 

The five ministries are Health Ministry, Education Ministry, Entrepreneur Development Ministry, Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Ministry and the Prime Minister's Department ( National Unity).

"Complex E has taken the move to ensure civil servants are in good health,” said Dzulkefly. Also present at the launch were Deputy Education Minister Teoh Nie Ching and Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
