UMSC honours nurses for their dedication

PETALING JAYA, April 28 (Bernama) -- UM Specialist Centre ( UMSC ) today honoured the nursing fraternity in conjunction with the International Nurses Day 2019 with a Nurses Day Luncheon.

Present at the Nurses Day Luncheon were  UMSC ’s CEO Azhar Harun, Director of Nursing Zurainawaty A. Rahman and Medical Director Professor Dr Vicknes Waran Mathaneswaran.

“As a healthcare provider committed to healing mankind,  UMSC  is honoured to celebrate the second momentous event to recognize the dedicated work of the nursing team. 

Approximately 200 nurses were feted at this joyous occasion with award presentations for best performance, best dressed female and male staff in traditional outfits, lucky draws with attractive prizes and artistic performances by nurses.

“It makes me very proud that I have a dynamic and committed staff. International Nurses Day is a great opportunity for us to celebrate the fantastic work of nurses at  UMSC .

“The nursing profession is as important today as it has ever been and we will celebrate the impact that modern day nurses make to healthcare,” said  Zurainawaty A. Rahman.
