KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 -- Society must overcome the misplaced notion that if diagnosed with cancer then that is the end of the road for anyone, because there is always hope as long as one chooses to treat the condition, says oncologist Dr Ros Suzanna Ahmad Bustaman. 


Perak records increase in dengue cases

TAIPING, Sept 15  -- Perak recorded a total of 2,228 dengue cases between January and Sept 7 this year, an increase of 10.3 per cent from 2,020 cases reported in the same period last year.


More than 80 per cent in dengue cases

BUTTERWORTH, Sept 15 -- The number of dengue cases in the country this year  increased drastically by 81.8 per cent compared to last year, with 93,344 cases recorded from January until Sept 7, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said.
