RM2.2 bilion setahun tampung kos rawatan hemodialisis

SEREMBAN, 11 April (Bernama) -- Kerajaan menampung kos rawatan hemodialisis berjumlah RM2.2 bilion setahun bagi 50,000 pesakit buah pinggang yang menjalani rawatan di hospital kerajaan, kata Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.

Orang Asli hidap gatal kulit guna kaedah perubatan tradisional

GUA MUSANG, 11 April (Bernama) --  Hampir 150 penduduk Orang Asli suku kaum Batek di Kampung Kuala Koh di sini yang menghidap sejenis penyakit gatal sehingga kulit menjadi bersisik sejak tiga bulan lalu kini berusaha mengubati penyakit itu dengan menggunakan kaedah tradisional kaum mereka.

1,236 graduands to be appointed graduate medical officers -Dr Dzulkefly

VATS & SBRT: The Future Of Lung Cancer Treatment In UMSC

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Traditionally, surgery for lung cancer is done via a thoracotomy, which requires the cutting of muscles and spreading of the ribs before entering the chest to remove the cancer.

In 1997, Tokyo National Cancer Hospital vice director Tsuguo Naruke led a team of surgeons in a successful operation on a 69-year-old woman who was diagnosed with an early stage lung cancer. 

The operation, performed via the Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) was reported as the first of its kind in the world.

400 IVF babies delivered in Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in 10 years
